We don’t make gold….we just make brass look expensive

We were beginning to wonder if we should hire security.

Turns out people weren’t interested in the machines—they kept spotting these “gold bricks.”

Sorry to disappoint—they’re precision-machined brass weights for custom croquet mallets. We make these for Oakley Woods Croquet out of Brighton. Don and the team have been trusting us to make their weights for several years now. Whether it’s Don or Kate walking through the door, it’s always a new adventure….and a new design.

They may not be worth their weight in gold, but they are worth their weight in double-takes.

CNC machining isn’t always glamorous… but sometimes it looks really expensive.
